1. The marine wildlife is THRIVING!

In November 2021, the Galapagos marine reserve was expanded by 50%, adding another 23,000 sqm. This will help protect the unique underwater world of the Islands and bring us even more unforgettable encounters.

 

2. No testing required to enter!

From February 2022, it is possible to enter Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands without Covid test if you are fully vaccinated Islands without Covid-test if you are fully vaccinated.

 

3. You can enter without vaccination!

If you have not been vaccinated, you can still enter the country - just get a PCR test no longer than 72 hours before entry.

 

4. There's no quarantine!

With our without vaccination, no isolation is required - your dream vacation starts with no delay as soon as you step outside the airport!

 

5. We have renowned shark scientists on board!

For 2022, we were able to get an amazing team together. Our shark specialists Jenny Waack, Jonathan Green, Sofia Green and Dr. Simon Pierce will make sure that our divers gain deep insights into shark behaviour and first-hand research experience. You're in expert hands!

 

6. You'll experience Whale Shark season!

We've carefully chosen the right timing for this year's trips for maximum chance of encounters with the whale sharks around Galapagos. Between June and November the number of encounters with the huge, adult females goes up drastically - and that is exactly the time we've planned this year's trips.

 

7. We'll beat last year's donation record!

Did you know we were able to donate more than $20,000 to the Galapagos Whale Shark Project in 2021? We make a donation for each of our guests. Come onboard and give back to the ocean - with your help, we can surely beat the record!

 

8. The Giant Tortoises are waiting!

The reserves and national parks of Ecuador are open for visitors. That means, we are able to take you on our excursion to the giant tortoises on Santa Cruz Island!

 

9. Easy journey back home!

Given the low count of COVID-19 the EU countries have lifted testing requirements for vaccinated travelers.
