Galapagos - The Price

The rate for 2024 is:

  • 8-day Liveaboard is USD 5,895  per person based on double occupancy for the week 
  • Special 15-day Liveaboard is USD 11,790  per person based on double occupancy for the week 


The rate for 2025 is:


  • 8-day Liveaboard is USD 5,995  per person based on double occupancy for the week 
  • Special 15-day Liveaboard is USD 11,990  per person based on double occupancy for the week 


Following Extra/Add-ons are already included in the price:

  • donation for the shark research project (Galapagos Whale Shark Project)
  • photography instruction with underwater photographer on board
  • Become a Shark Ambassador and learn HOW YOU support shark conservation
  • talks/lectures about Galapagos, whale sharks & whale shark research project
  • 1 additional dive guide (total 3 dive master, ratio: 1 dive guide per group of 5 divers) 

By paying a donation you are helping fund science and investigation which is key for the future conservation of whale sharks and all marine life in these waters. 


  • 7nights/8days or 14nights/15days aboard the vessel 

  • 2 to 4 dives per day (diving as per the itinerary)
  • Transfers from and to the airport within the Galapagos Islands
  • Pre-breakfast, breakfast, lunch, dinner meals plus in between-dive snacks
  • Coffee, tea, purified water
  • Technical equipment: tanks, weights, weight belt.
  • SCUBA tuba SMB
  • 3 Dive Masters total  (ratio: 1 Dive Master per group of 4-5 divers)
  • A variety of lectures about the Galapagos Islands and the Galapagos Whale Shark Project
  • You will be accompanied by the research project team Jonathan Green, Simon Pierce, Sofia Green or  Jenny Waack
  • Photography instruction & practical advice
  • Translation in Spanish, German and French
  • Fuel Surcharge, $150 per person is currently waived (other vessels still charge this amount)
  • Internet access on board


  • Flights to/from the Galapagos Islands
  • Galapagos National Park tax ($100 pp, cash only) - payable upon arrival at Galapagos Airport.
  • Transit Control Card ($20 pp, cash only) - payable in cash at Quito or Guayaquil Airport of departure for Galapagos
  • Personal equipment:  Wetsuit, BCD (Buoyancy control device/jacket), regulator, booties  fins, mask, dive computer, gloves, hoods, dive light
  • Camera
  • Nitrox ($ 150 / per week)
  • Alcoholic beverages and bottled drinks
  • Dive Accident/MedEvac Insurance
  • Personal expenses
  • On board gratuities (always optional)


Deposit Required Upon Reservation: 30% of regular rate

Final Payment / Balance Due: 120 days prior departure


Payment in different currencies (EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, NZD) are possible. The currency exchange rate used is based on the rate on the day of exchange (day when money is received) provided by our bank (including exchange fees).




364 to 120 days before departure: the ship will keep 30% of regular rate 

119 to 0 days before departure: the ship will keep 100% of regular rate (Unless the space is filled by another person, at which time we would refund the amount paid by the replacement)


Refund will be paid in USD. If another currency (EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, NZD) is preferred, the currency exchange rate will be provided by our bank (including exchange fees) at the day of refund payment.

Current prices are:

Full Scuba Package - BCD, Regulator, wetsuit (7mm), fins, mask, snorkel, booties, hood, gloves (does not include computer): $ 250

15 l tank upgrade: $ 75

Regulator (SCUBAPRO): $ 80

Computer (limited availability): $ 80 (or 10 per day)


Full Body Wetsuit (SCUBAPRO, different sizes): $ 60

Hood: $ 20

Gloves: $ 20

Booties: $ 25

Fins: $ 35

DIN/Yoke Adaptor (limited availability): $ 25

Nitrox fills: $ 150 per week


All rates are Net Rates in US Dollars per person.

We recommend that you bring your own gear as it fits best and will make you feel more comfortable for Galapagos' diving conditions. Any rental payments made on board are subject to a 15% local tax and fees increase.

Please note that limited sizes and quantities are available. We recommend you reconfirm your rental needs at the moment of booking. Refund fees are applicable to any lost or damaged equipment rented. Refund fees will be confirmed at the moment of booking. Rental rates are subject to change.
