PRICE OF THE DIVING ADVENTURE IS INCLUDING:
- Ground transportation San Jose - Puntarenas and return
- 11-day / 10-night aboard the vessel
- Accommodation in a double or twin bed cabin with en-suite shower bath, toilet and AC
- Full board including all meals and drinks on board (including beer)
- Seven full days of action-packed diving with three dives per day
- NITROX fillings for whole cruise
- Technical equipment: tanks, weights
- A variety of lectures about Citizen Science and shark research
- You will be accompanied by the research project leader Jonathan Green and tour leader Jenny Waack

PRICE IS NOT INCLUDING:
- Flights to/from the San Jose
- National Park Fee USD 554 - (USD 70 + taxes per day for 7 diving days which spent at the Cocos Island Marine Conservation Area) - Please note: the national park fees are subject to change.
- Insurance for cancellation and dive insurance
- Personal equipment: Wetsuit, BCD (Buoyancy control device/jacket), regulator, booties fins, mask, dive computer, gloves, hoods, weight belt, dive light
- DeepSee dives with the submersible are additional costs. (More information see HERE)
*** Due to the possible increase in the cost of oil, based on events in the past few years, the Undersea Hunter Group reserves the right to charge a US$200 per person Fuel Surcharge. This fee will be effective in the event that the diesel price published by Costa Rica's state owned refinery, RECOPE, reaches US$3.80 per gallon (US$1.00 per liter). We will verify the fuel index table 75 days prior to the departure date and if it is necessary to collect a fuel surcharge then we will inform the participants of the trip. The surcharge will be collected onboard.

Final Payment / Balance Due: 120 days prior departure
CANCELLATION TERMS:
364 to 181 days before departure: 30% of regular rate
180 to 0 days before departure: 100% of regular rate (Unless the space is filled by another person, at which time we would refund the amount paid by the replacement)
NEW CANCELLATION TERMS FOR COVID:
We are and stay flexible! We will keep our flexible cancellation policy. If you can't join us due to COVID reasons (border closing, flight cancelation, positive
COVID test, etc.) our ship will give you the opportunity to reschedule your dive trip to a later date in the next year(s) depending when you can and want to travel again. You will have free
choice which date fits the best for you and get priority in booking. This policy will continue for the year 2021!

- Dive light/lamp per trip: 40 US$ (for the 7 dive days)

- 15l-dive steel tank per trip (limited availability): 84 US$
- Nitrox filling: 0US$, no charge
- Mask, fins, snorkel, booties can be rented for free. It is necessary to let us know ahead of time (including size) as there are only limited availability
- Weight belt & weights: no charge for rent
All rates are Net Rates in US Dollars per person. Above mentioned fees are for 7 dive days in Cocos and are extra costs, payable aboard.
We recommend that you bring your own gear as it fits best and will make you feel more comfortable for Cocos' diving conditions.
Please note that limited sizes and quantities are available. We recommend you reconfirm your rental needs at the moment of booking. Refund fees are applicable to any lost or damaged equipment rented. Refund fees will be confirmed at the moment of booking. Rental rates are subject to change.
Mask, fins, snorkel, booties, weight belts and DIN-Adaptor can be rented for free. As they are not on board we need to know in advance if you require them.
Deep Sea Submersible Dives
The DeepSee submersible is scheduled to be onboard certain trips throughout the year. The cost of DeepSee dives are additional.
Have you ever wondered what lies within the dark Abyss? Since the first deep ocean explorations, venturing to these depths was reserved for a very few privileged scientists and military personnel. The DeepSee is a custom-built one-atmosphere submarine, capable of carrying a pilot and two passengers to a depth of 1,500 feet (450 meters). She is a flexible, capable and masterfully designed vehicle that can agilely operate throughout her range in comfort and safety. The view from DeepSee’s acrylic sphere is unparalleled, with a 360-degree field of vision. The 4-inch thick acrylic sphere actually disappears when immersed, giving the astonishing sensation of total freedom.

Nitrox course
Basic Nitrox Course for 200 US$ includes the following:
- 3-4 hours lecture (on crossing to Cocos or first day at Cocos)
